If you're shopping for a new SUV, you want to make sure that you're getting a good buy. That means seeing how it stacks up to the competition. Fortunately, the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas has no problem showing up other full-size SUVs in its class in a number of ways. It's arriving at Heritage Volkswagen Owings Mills soon, and here's what you can expect when it makes its debut.

The 2020 Volkswagen Atlas is a full-size SUV with three rows of seating. For the new model year, it receives an updated infotainment system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and some more extras from previous years as standard. One of this model's closest competitors is the 2020 Kia Telluride. This SUV only offers one engine option, compared to the new Volkswagen SUV's two engines, and fewer trim levels to choose from. You also get less total cargo space, 87 cubic feet compared to 96.8 cubic feet. The third row of the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas also offers more legroom, 33 inches compared to the Kia model's 31 inches.

The 2020 Hyundai Palisade is another new entry to the SUV market. It's capable and all, but it's less spacious than the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas and doesn't offer premium touches like a Wi-Fi hotspot. The 2020 Volkswagen Atlas offers more headroom in all three rows and gives you more cargo space to play with, no matter how many rows of seats are folded down.

The 2020 Honda Pilot and Volkswagen Atlas offer similar towing capabilities and nearly the same amount of power when outfitted with their most potent engines, but the Volkswagen model offers some extra perks. The 2020 Volkswagen Atlas comes standard with rear sensors, hill descent control, an overhead camera, and heated side mirrors. You won't find these in the Honda SUV.

If you're looking for a capable SUV and don't want to compromise, we can help. Visit our Volkswagen dealership serving Owings Mills, MD and ask about the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas or any of our other models today. We hope to see you soon!
