Time and time again we get customers wondering how our Volkswagen cars stack up against their luxury competitors. The fact of the matter is, models like the Volkswagen Atlas and the Volvo XC90 have a lot in common - however, there are a few key features that you’ll find only in our model and not in the competition. For example, Maneuver Braking that uses rear sensors to monitor and automatically apply the brakes to prevent a rear collision.

The easy third-row access is a fantastic feature for families - as is the interior of this VW SUV that is massive in general (several more cubic feet than the competitor in almost every interior dimension). You can arrange your passengers and cargo in whatever way works best for you via the split-folding rear seats. Simple conveniences such as one-touch down front and rear windows, a fuel locking door, and extendable sun visors make the VW Atlas that much more of a smooth ride.

Additionally, the 2020 Volkswagen Atlas is must more versatile than the 2020 Volvo XC90. For example, it boasts a maximum 96.8 cubic feet of cargo space with the second and third rows folded flat. If you're in the Volvo XC90, only 85.7 cubic feet of storage room is available in the same configuration. With the rear rows occupied and in place, the VW Atlas features 20.6 cubic feet of available cargo volume; the Volvo XC90 struggles to keep up with just 15.8 cubic feet.

We’re happy to chat with you at our Volkswagen dealership in MD when you’re ready to experience the Volkswagen Atlas in person. We look forward to your visit here at Heritage Volkswagen Owings Mills!
